Never used Eric's service, but I've used these guys right here : www.cargotaxiny.com
They work 7 days a week, their prices are fascinating. The delivery rates are very cheap and they provide such a great customer service. I moved to NY, with only clothes in my suitcases. The apartment was empty. I called them up when I was still in the UK when I made the order. They came right on time, were very quick when they unloaded everything.
The assembly was very well made. The crew is very careful with the furniture, making sure that everything is placed right and there are no issues.
So give New York Cargo Taxi a try, I believe you won't be disappointed.
